The 2025 municipal calendars have arrived and will be delivered to Smiths Falls residents prior to the holidays. The “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” photo contest launched in September 2024 and received over 300 photo submissions. The annual calendar features important information for residents within Smiths Falls, including council meetings, various recycling initiatives (including the weekly garbage pick-up schedule), and some local events hosted by the Town.

The Town of Smiths Falls operates a Class 4 state of the art Water Treatment Facility, which is the highest classification for Water Treatment in Ontario. Municipal residential drinking water subsystems are required to be classified from Class 1 to 4 depending on the raw water (untreated water) source.
