It's that time of year again! The CPKC Holiday Train rolls into Smiths Falls on Friday, November 28 for 6:30 pm, featuring musical guests Jade Eagleson & Teigen Gayse!
🎉 The pre-party festivities kick off at The Station Theatre (55 Victoria Ave.) at 5:00 PM, featuring free hot chocolate (SF Community Theatre & PuroClean), The Wizard of Sound (DJ), BeaverTails, Junibels' Bakery, Mama G's & 4 Degrees Brewing Co., Starbucks, and Sugar Rush Carnival Delights!!🎄

STREET CLOSURES – FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28

Please be advised that the following streets will be closed on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM to accommodate the CPKC Holiday Train, arriving in Smiths Falls at 6:30 PM (63 Victoria Avenue).

Street closures include:

• Victoria Avenue – Robinson Ave. to William St. E.
• Daniel St. – Elmsley St. to Victoria Ave.
• Robinson Ave. – Montague St. to Victoria Ave.
• Foster Ave. – Ogden Ave. to Victoria Ave.
• Montague St. – Ogden Ave. to Victoria Ave.
• McGill St. North – Beckwith St. to Church St. East
• Ogden Ave. – Montague St. to Church St. East
• Winnifred St. North – Foster Ave. to Church St. East
• Church St. East – Winnifred St. to Victoria Ave.
• Russell St. East – Winnifred St. to Victoria Ave.

Residents living within the closure area are asked to enter via Daniel St. and Elmsley St., where police will be staffing barricades.

Expect heavy foot traffic throughout the event area. Please drive with caution and watch for pedestrians. Parking will be limited but available on side streets, downtown, at Town Hall (77 Beckwith St.), and at the Community Centre (71 Cornelia St. West).

Celebration of Lights - Tree Lighting Ceremony

Saturday, November 29th 4:30-5:00 PM, Town Square, 77 Beckwith Street Smiths Falls

Join us for the official tree lighting ceremony in Town Square, on Saturday, November 29th at 4:30 PM. Featuring free hot chocolate and caroling, courtesy of Smiths Falls Music's own Sing Your Heart Out Choir.

The lights will be lit at 5:00 PM - and will remain lit every night, until January 5th, 2026.
