| Spring Carnival - April 20, 2024 |
| The warmer weather and sunshine have arrived! Stop by the Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum on Saturday, April 20 from 11am – 2pm for the museum’s Spring Carnival.
There will be axe throwing, scavenger hunts, bouncy castles, meet artists Renate "Nadi" Wesley & Craig Carty in the Museum's galleries, outdoor games, a performance from Junkyard Symphony, a BBQ and music.
Please note that waivers will be signed on site for axe throwing.

| Mysteries of the Keyhole House: Unlocked - April 27, 2024 |
| Join Ted and Marion Outerbridge at the Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum on Saturday, April 27 beginning at 2pm for "Mysteries of the Keyhole House: Unlocked". During this talk, Ted and Marion will share some secrets, stories and history surrounding their heritage home in Smiths Falls, Ontario. Tea and coffee will be served.

| Movies Under the Stars - July 4, 11, 18, 25 and August 1 & 8, 2024 |
| The Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum and the Town of Smiths Falls welcome you to Movies Under the Stars this summer. Bring the family and a blanket or lawn chair and spend your summer evening watching a family-friendly FREE movie at Centennial Park. Movie selections include a variety of new releases, fan favourites and family-friendly films. Every week of Movies Under the Stars, there will also be pre-show activities before the movie begins and concessions available for purchase. | Heritage House Children's Summer Camps - July 15 - 19 and August 12 - 16, 2024 |
| Registration for Summer Camps is now open!
Camps will be running from July 15 - 19 and August 12 - 16, from 10am - 2pm. Registration costs are $40 for a day or $175 per week, per child.
July and August, themes will be announced closer to the camp dates.

| Rideau Artist of the Year Competition - September 7 & 8, 2024 |

The Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum invites artists to the picturesque grounds of the museum to create an original work of art that captures the beauty of Smiths Falls where industrial heritage meets the natural landscape, in the tradition of en plein air art making. This competition is open to artists of all mediums. Artists will have the weekend to complete an original work of art and submit it to the museum’s gallery, where they will then be reviewed by a Jury. Previous winners of the Rideau Artist of the Year Competition include Michelle Reid (2022), Rachel Houlton (2023, Intermediate Category) and Jordan Sinclair (2023, Youth Category). | We are paying homage to the Smiths Falls Turkey Fair - join the Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum for its Fall Fest on the first weekend of October. | The Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum will be hosting its Community Pumpkin Carving Contest and Pumpkin Walk. Drop by the museum grounds during Fall Fest to register for the contest. | Holiday Heritage House - December 1, 2024 |
| Kick off the holiday season with everyone's favourite Jolly old soul at the Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum. Guests will be offered tours of the Museum's period rooms, decorated for the season, with costumed guides who will share the history of holiday traditions in Eastern Ontario and their origins. Enjoy the sounds of holiday music with a cup of tea or apple cider alongside a homemade seasonal dessert. For admission rates or to book tickets, please contact the museum. |
| Trivia Night at 4 Degrees Brewing & Distillery - First Friday of the Month |

Join the Heritage House Crew at 4 Degrees Brewing & Distillery on the last Friday of every month, at 7pm.
Costs are $25 a table, with suggested table numbers at 5-6 people. Limited seats are available. The winning team will receive some awesome prizes from local businesses.
Proceeds from Trivia night go to support the Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum.
