The Smiths Falls Public Library is located in Downtown at 81 Beckwith Street North and offers a wide variety of items, services, and programs to all ages

 Services and Programs

  • Free museum and Ontario Parks passes
  • Free public computers and wi-fi
  • Low-cost printing and photocopying
  • A selection of free digital books and entertainment databases including hoopla! (on-demand digital movies and television, music, comics, e-books, and e-audiobooks), Mango Languages (learn 70+ languages), Libby (e-audiobooks and e-books), and the Smiths Falls Digital Archives (digital local history documents).  Full database listing:

  • And, and course, lots of physical items such as books, DVDs, magazines and even a radon detector to borrow.  Browse the online catalogue.

Memberships

  • Cards are free to all residents, property owners, and business owners in the Town of Smiths Falls and the Township of Montague.  Educators and town employees are all eligible for free cards.  Membership for non-residents is available for a monthly fee of $11 or a yearly fee of $55.

The Library is open 6 days a week

  • Monday & Tuesday: 10 am to 5 pm
  • Wednesday & Thursday: 12 pm to 7 pm
  • Friday & Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm
