Recycling and onset of Winter Weather

REMINDER – Please ensure that recyclable materials are loose and not compacted into your recycling bins. With the onset of winter and inclement weather, recyclable material can become wet and frozen prior to collection by the contractor. If the material is compacted it becomes difficult for the material to come out of the recycling bins. In this case, whatever remains in the bin after it is dumped will be left in the bin.
