The Town of Smiths Falls is now accepting applications for the 2026 Community Grants Program. Local organizations, groups, and individuals with initiatives that enhance community well-being or attract visitors are encouraged to apply.
The Community Grants Program provides modest financial support to eligible applicants through the Town’s annual operating budget, approved by Council. Funding is available for:
• Operational and programming support
• Minor capital investments for local not-for-profit organizations
• Events, activations, and programs led by non-incorporated groups or individuals (including business owners)
“This program is about investing in the people and ideas that make Smiths Falls vibrant,” said Mayor Shawn Pankow. “We’re proud to support initiatives that build community spirit, foster innovation, and create lasting impact for residents and visitors alike.”
Applications will be accepted from November 1 to November 30, 2025. Approved funding will be distributed following Council’s adoption of the 2026 budget in February.
Program guidelines and application forms are available at www.smithsfalls.ca/CommunityGrants. Completed applications can be submitted:
