The Town of Smiths Falls will declare a significant weather event as of 10:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2025, due to the forecasted storm, in accordance with Mar 28, 2025
Purple Day 2025WHEREAS, Purple Day for Epilepsy was founded in 2008 by nine year-old Cassidy Megan of Nova Scotia as she was motivated by her own struggles with epilepsy; and

Media Release: Town Supports Buy CanadianOn Monday, March 3, 2025, Town Council passed a resolution endorsing the Federal and Provincial call to buy Canadian.
As part of the approved resolution, council is also urging the Federal and Provincial governments to collaborate with municipalities in protecting Canadian consumers and businesses, and to eliminate any barriers that prevent municipalities from prioritizing Canadian companies for projects.
