    With the refresh of the pride crosswalks, a new pink bench has been installed at the corner of Beckwith and Church Street as part of a new inclusion corner within the downtown.

    The colour pink was chosen as it is a recognized colour for anti-bullying across Canada.

  • Spirit of the Drum Powwow Cancelled for 2024

    On May 24 2024, 26 year old Jeffrey HAMILTON of no fixed address was arrested on outstanding warrants. HAMILTON was wanted in relation to a residential break and enter which took place on Gladstone Avenue on May 9th 2024.

  • New Online Marriage Application Process

    Included in 35 participating municipalities across Ontario, the Town now offers an online marriage application process for soon-to-be married couples. This pilot program brought together by the province is being introduced through a phased-in implementation, with province-wide expansion targeted by early 2025.
