    The Town of Smiths Falls recognizes the importance in supporting those that work to improve the well-being of the community and the quality of life for its residents and/or attract visitors to support businesses and the economy.

    The Department of Community Services, on behalf of the Town of Smiths Falls, is inviting expressions of interest from qualified individuals or entities to operate a summer canteen business in the Murphy Park building along the Rideau Canal. This opportunity allows you to become an integral part of a vibrant waterfront destination, providing food and refreshments to locals and tourists during the summer months.

  • Still Standing Community Watch Parties

    The Town of Smiths Falls, in partnership with The Smiths Falls Community Theatre, is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a free Community Watch Party for the debut of the Smiths Falls Still Standing episode, on Tuesday, October 22 from 8 PM - 9 PM. Admission to the Watch Party is free, but seating is limited, so reservations are required.

  • 2024 Veteran Banner Program

    To commemorate this year’s Remembrance Day, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 95 in partnership with the Town of Smiths Falls and the Downtown Business Association are proud to launch the Annual Veteran Banner Program that will honour and remember local veterans who willingly served or gave their lives in service to Canada and continue to stand for our freedom. 

    Installation will begin on October 8th, and the banners will be displayed until after Remembrance Day.
