2025 Community Grants Submission Now Open

Community organizations and individuals seeking funding support for 2025projects can now submit applications for the Smiths Falls Community Grants Program.

The Town of Smiths Falls recognizes the importance in supporting those that work to improve thewell-being of the community and the quality of life for its residents and/or attract visitors to supportbusinesses and the economy. The Town is committed to providing modest financial assistance toeligible applicants through this annual funding program which is provided each year from themunicipality’s operating budget, approved by Council through the annual budget process.

In October, Council adopted changes to the previous Grants Policy.

This updated grant program will provide funding to support or enhance operational and programmingcapacity, including minor capital investments for local not-for-profit organizations, as well as providefunding for non-incorporated groups and individuals (including business owners) looking to hostevents, activations and programs within the community.

Applications for funding can be submitted from November 1st through to November 30th. Funding willbe available to approved applicants after the final budget has been adopted by Council in February of2025.

Program guidelines and application forms are available on the Town’s website at
www.smithsfalls.ca/CommunityGrants and can be summitted by email or in person to Julia Crowder,Manager of Economic Development and Tourism at jcrowder@smithsfalls.ca or by dropping off hardcopy forms at the Town Hall Reception.
