FEMALE WANTED FOR MULTIPLE SHOPLIFTING INCIDENTS

39 year old Brandee DOUGHERTY of Smiths Falls is currently wanted for four counts of Theft Under $5000, Breach of Release Order and Fail to Comply with Probation (see photo below). If you know DOUGHERTY’s current whereabouts please contact the Smiths Falls Police Service or Crime Stoppers.


WANTED FEMALE ARRESTED

On May 27 2024, the Smiths Falls Police were notified that Cassandra MEILLEUR was at a business in the downtown core. At the time, MEILLEUR was wanted in relation to a Break and Enter investigation with occurred on May 9th 2024. Officers attended the location and arrested MEILLEUR without incident. She was later released following a bail appearance.


MALE WANTED FOR BAIL VIOLATIONS

35 year old Cody LAMING is currently wanted by the Smiths Falls Police Service for Failing to Comply with a Release Order (see photo below). If you know LAMING’s current whereabouts please contact the Smiths Falls Police Service or Crime Stoppers.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE LEADS TO CHARGES

On May 28 2024, the Smiths Falls Police Service responded to a residence on Empress Avenue regarding a domestic dispute. As a result of the investigation, it was learned that the male suspect had fled the residence as he was bound by a Release Order with conditions not to communicate with the female involved in this incident.

The suspect was later located by officers and charged with Breach of Release Order. He was held pending a bail hearing.

ELECTRONICS STOLEN DURING A BREAK AND ENTER

On May 29th 2024 the Smiths Falls Police Service was dispatched to a break and enter of a shed at 1 Jasper Avenue. The investigation revealed that two 55” TCL TV’s and a Bluetooth speaker were stolen from the location. The matter remains currently under investigation.
