Smiths Falls continuing snow removal operations, new weather conditions could impact efforts

Town of Smiths Falls staff are continuing to plow and remove snow throughout the Town following the unprecedented amount of snow received on Monday. Please be advised that snowbank removal operations are planned for Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, overnight.

The forecast is currently showing more snow and possibly freezing drizzle/rain throughout the night Tuesday and into Wednesday. Public Works efforts will be focused to address this snowfall before snowbank removal if required.
