Emergency childcare available in Smiths Falls beginning Monday, April 19

The Town of Smiths Falls is pleased to report that emergency childcare in Smiths Falls has been approved by the province and will be available beginning Monday, April 19, 2021.

Emergency childcare services for essential service workers at the Thurber Street location in Smiths Falls are being provided in partnership with the County of Lanark and the Province of Ontario. The service is being delivered by the Child Development Centre staff and is available for school aged children aged 3.8 years or older.

For a list of eligible essential service workers as identified by the province and other information please visit: lanarkcounty.ca/en/family-and-social-services/children_s-services.aspx. Essential workers who would like to register their child(ren) may request an application by emailing or calling Liane Clarke at 613-267-4200 ext. 2304 or lclarke@lanarkcounty.ca.
