The newly renovated Youth Arena, located at 71-A Cornelia Street West, is linked to the Community Centre and has the same amenities such as the Skateboard Park, baseball diamond, tennis courts, figure skating, hockey and events. It also cater’s to the active lifestyle.
The Youth Centre can seat up to 300 people and has an ice surface of 185 x 80.

Youth Arena Bookable Assets
Once the ice is removed during the off season from May 15 – July 30th, the concrete finished floor is used throughout the summer for various community dinners, weddings, social evenings, ball hockey, indoor soccer and has an occupancy of 1260 people.
- Licensed: $600/day
- Unlicensed: $425/day
- Commercial: $750/day plus $200 set-up & take-down fee
- Adult/floor activity: $55/hour
- Set-up & take down fee: $20/hour per man
Youth Arena Hall
The Youth Centre also has a Hall, on the second level, with a viewing area. This hall is also used for smaller weddings and socials throughout the fall and winter months. This hall has a kitchen with a fridge and freezer and is fully accessible with the Elevator.
Rooms in our recreation facilities are the perfect location for your next meeting, seminar, workshop, event or family function

The ice surface can be used for multiple purposes, hockey practices, hockey games, figure skating practices, figure skating competitions, birthday parties, family skating functions, etc. During the winter months public skating is available and the ice can be rented out for personal public skating as well.

- Non-Prime-time: $111/hr
- Minor, Prime-Time: $126/hr;
- Non-Prime-time: $90/hr

Extended Season Ice
Extended season ice before or after the regular season for leagues and sporting groups. From April 1st to the third week of September or prior to the demand threshold
- COVID-19 Vaccination Passport required to attend public skating. If you are 18+ you will be required to provide proof of 2nd dose vaccination as well as ID.
- Sign-in prior to enter the ice surface
- Masks must be work into the facility and while getting ready to enter the ice surface
- Masks can be removed while on the ice
- Social Distancing on the ice is required
- No sticks/pucks/hockey equipment/horse play on the ice
