Gerry Lowe Memorial Sens Rink of Dreams

Conveniently located at 150 Elmsley Street, The Rink of Dreams is an outdoor multi-purpose complex, created in partnership with the Gerry Lowe Foundation and the Sen’s Foundation. The Outdoor Rink is open to use, allowing people of all ages the opportunity to play. It is open year round, offering ice hockey and public skating in the winter and basketball and ball hockey in the spring, summer, and fall.  This is an excellent space for everyone to enjoy!

Seniors Activity Building

The Seniors Activity Building is dedicated to senior’s activities in our community. Occupancy of 240 with tables and chairs, also offers a kitchen facility. The seniors can participate in a variety of games such as shuffleboard and darts. There are daily activities taking place and during the summer the seniors can enjoy playing a game of lawn bowling.

Lawn Bowling

Next door to The Seniors Activity building, located at 61 Cornelia Street West, is the Lawn Bowling field. It is open seasonally from mid May to mid September It is a recreational and competitive sport for all ages. Throughout the month of July The Smiths Falls Lawn Bowling Club invites all sectors of the community to challenge themselves and their peers to a game of lawn bowling. Every Saturday morning throughout the month of July teams of three bowlers (any age) are welcome to take part in the first annual Challenge Cup.

The mission of the Club is to make lawn bowling available to the community and surrounding area allowing for any person to play this organized sport which emphasizes sportsmanship and social development of youth and adults while at the same time promoting competition and community spirit, and to assist members to realize their full potential by offering programs for developing skills while fostering and safeguarding the sport.
