Canal, Railway, & Chocolate Festival
July 16-18th, 2010 - Celebrate three full days of family fun along the historic Rideau Canal waterway in beautiful Centennial Park, Smiths Falls. This Sensational festival offers live music, historic exhibits, children's entertainers, family puppet workshops, balloon twisting and so much more. Also not to be missed are the many artisans, the midway, and the very tasty food booths! You can see it all for yourself at only $5 per adult or $2 per child, per day.

Doors Open Smiths Falls 2010
Sunday, June 6th, 2010 - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. This FREE event invites visitors to explore unique and historic buildings, including personal homes, businesses and special locations throughout the Town of Smiths Falls. 2010 Site Listing: McEwan House, Senator Frost House, MacLachlan House, Kinkaid & Loney Monuments,Heritage House Museum, Davidson’s Courtyard, Heart of the Rideau Canal, Wood Family Mausoleum, Smiths Falls Public Library, St. Francis Masonic Lodge #24, Rideau Canal Museum, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Smiths Falls Community Theatre, Jackfm Radio Station, New Water Treatment Plant, Kilt & Castle, Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario, Historic Arch, and Hillcrest Cemetery. PickleFest
September 2010 - Come, join in the activities and events of the Smiths Falls Lions Club PickleFest. Located on the shore of the world heritage waterway, under the water tower at Centennial Park. Sample crispy dills, sweet pickles, tomato relish, salsa, or plum butter. Bring in your favourite preserve to enter the pickle contest. Get the kids to bring in their garden cucumbers to enter the Junior gardener contest. Eat the most dill pickles and become Pickle King or Queen for the day. Colour Mr. Pickle and become Pickle Prince or Princess. It is the perfect spot and the perfect time to sit back and enjoy the Rideau Canal in beautiful Centennial Park.

Rail Fest 2010
The Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario located in Sensational Smiths Falls is sponsoring Rail Fest 2010. Join the Museum for model vendors, exhibitors, hand car rides, rides on the childrens train, on-site cartoonist, live music with John & Kerry, Barbeque and cotton Candy, enter a draw for a Pen & Ink drawing by John Cullen. Rolling Thunder Car Show & Shop
Stop by the park for a unique display of vehicles or show off your own! Lower Reach Park, 10:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. Awards for the top 15 vehicles, best FORD, GM, Import, and motorcycle. Special prize for a pre-registered vehicle as well as major door prizes. Breakfast available on site! Watch for the free Tourism Shuttle bus to take you from the event, across town and back for the final awards ceremony!
