Donneybrooke Golf & Country Club

Whether golfers arrive by boat via the historic Rideau Canal or by car from Highway #43, they will find the lush scenery a pleasure to take in at this newly opened nine hole course. With a good mixture of layouts, from short and wide open to longer, more narrowly defined fairways, Donneybrooke will please and challenge all levels of golfers. The finest of this course's challenges can indeed be found on the tighter, tree-lined fairways. Perhaps the best example is Donneybrooke's finishing hole, the 347 yard par four 9th. Water envelopes both sides of the fairway for its entire length, and golfers having trouble with a slice or a hook may have a rough time hitting the narrow landing area. The approach to the sloped green is complicated by a large bunker to the front left side. With wetlands all around, don't be surprised to come across a few deer, or a flock of the various migrating birds that use Donneybrooke for an occasional resting stop. Activities don't end with the close of the golf season at Donneybrooke. Golfing is replaced by cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling in the winter. The clubhouse is open year round, offering a variety of Canadian and Chinese food to whet any appetite.

Juniper Fairways

We have been here since 1990. Our course is an approved CPGA course and was designed by Scott MacDonald, a long time member of the Canadian Professional Golfers Association. We are in a delightfull and quiet location, with an emphasis on the game of golf rather than a lot of the merchadising and marketing you might see at a lot of the other courses. Juniper Fairways is a charming par 3 rural . The holes range from 72 to 112 yards. The course measures approximately 1,000 yards from the pro tees (approximately 1/6th of a standard course). While all of our holes are par 3, each has it's own challenges, and will demand different skills. Some greens you will find to have a deceptivly straight approach, while others may hook to the right or left. The meticulously maintained putting greens are nestled in among fairways and hazzards, sure to challenge and entertain. Our putting greens have a base of 8-10 inches of screened sand/soil mixture layed over crushed stone, with a rich carpet of verdant putting grass providing an ideal surface.

Lombard Glen Golf & Country Club

Lombard Glen is located less than one hour from Ottawa, and a 30 minute drive from Brockville, on the outskirts of Smiths Falls 7 km West of Hwy 15. This 18 Hole course is beautifully designed, featuring challenging water hazards on 9 different holes. Par 70 and over 6100 yards from the Gold tees, this golf course is immaculately maintained from tee to green, front and back.
