Local Immigration Partnership Project and Chamber of Commerce to host employers’ workshop

The Smiths Falls Local Immigration Partnership (LIP) Project is partnering with the Smiths Falls & District Chamber of Commerce in organizing a free workshop for employers on Wednesday, November 21st.

Entitled “Leveraging the Skills of Internationally Educated Professionals -- Why you should do it and how you can do it well”, the workshop will be facilitated by Hire Immigrants Ottawa (HIO).

“Employers will learn the business case for integrating immigrants into their organizations/businesses, and strategies and resources on how to more effectively leverage the full potential of a diverse workforce,” explains Kelly McGahey, Senior Manager, Stakeholder Relations, HIO.
