Community Events

The Town is willing to post community events on its community events calendar provided it meets established criteria.

All requests must be submitted on-line using the form prescribed.
Community Events must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Events must take place in the Town of Smiths Falls or be an event which benefits/serves the community of Smiths Falls.
- Events must be open to the public.
The Town reserves the right to make final determination of inclusion of any event on the event calendar and reserves the right to edit event listings.
The following types of events will not be accepted: lotteries (including bingo), garage or yard sales, individual store sales/business events, family/small group reunions, open houses (residential or corporate), permanent exhibitions, politically affiliated events.
Inclusion of an event in the calendar does not constitute approval for the event under any applicable law or policies of the municipality or other level of government.
