The licensing and vital statistics functions fall under the Clerk's Department and are administered by the Licensing Officer. Most licensing functions have been assigned to the Licensing Officer in an effort to improve customer service and provide our customer with one point of contact.

Business licenses are required for all new businesses, changes in business ownership, changes in business location.
Lottery licenses are required in accordance with the regulations under the Criminal Code of Canada.
