Operation of the Town Hall is based on a Chief Administrative Officer (C.A.O.) structure. The C.A.O. oversees administration of the Town with the assistance of two Directors which oversee the various departments.

The Director of Community Services is Mr. Rick St. Dennis (ext. 1121), rstdennis@smithsfalls.ca.
The Director of Administrative and Planning Services is Ms. Elaine Mallory (ext. 1109), emallory@smithsfalls.ca.
